Metal braces are uncomfortable and inconvenient, even clear braces too. But they’re no longer the only options for straightening your teeth.

Now, you can achieve a healthier, straighter smile without brackets, wires, and constant adjustments! Our Columbia orthodontists offer Invisalign. It’s the world’s top clear aligner system, treating more than 11 million smiles!

Invisalign trays are made of smooth SmartTrack material…Open a new window to learn more about SmartTrack…, which makes them virtually invisible and easy to remove. Throughout your treatment plan, you can eat and drink whatever you’d like.

Plus, Invisalign technology creates a very predictable outcome. Every set of your custom aligners will gradually move your teeth to the predetermined position by one of our Columbia Invisalign providers. You’ll even get to preview your finished smile before you start treatment!

Invisalign Is the Nonrestrictive Method

No stress; no interference with your life.

Innovative Technology

Instead of goopy impressions, your Columbia orthodontist uses an iTero-Element® scanner…Open a new window to the iTero website… to capture a 3D image of your smile. This helps us create your aligners precisely and plan a successful treatment plan.

Custom Aligners

Your Invisalign expert can prescribe specific tooth movements in each of your trays. Every one to two weeks, you’ll swap to a new set, and you’ll only need to visit us every 8-12 weeks to get your next set of trays. This also helps us monitor your progress throughout the treatment.

Zero Restrictions

Invisalign trays are removable, unlike traditional braces. Take out the aligners whenever you wish to eat and never have to worry about food getting caught in your braces. You’ll also brush and floss your teeth as usual.

Is Invisalign Worth it?

See what real patients think!

I've been self-conscious about my smile my entire life, and being an adult now, I was able to actually do something about it. Lucas Orthodontics Group made me feel so welcome and put my nervousness at ease. They even worked with me to better afford the Invisalign, erasing the guilt I felt for spending so much money on myself.

Questions About Invisalign?

We’ll gladly answer them.
  • What can I expect with Invisalign treatment?:

    It’s a simple 3-step process:

Your doctor will meet with you to discuss your needs and smile goals. They’ll evaluate your mouth to determine if you’re a candidate for Invisalign.

    Take an Image:
We’ll capture a 3D image of your smile with our iTero-Element® scanner. Next, we’ll send it to the Invisalign laboratory, which will create your trays.

Once the aligners are ready, we’ll have you try them on so we can make sure they fit properly. And finally, you’ll leave with your aligners! Wear your trays for at least 20 hours a day and switch to a new set every one to two weeks. Maintain regular check-ups and a proper oral health routine. Our doctors will ensure you’re satisfied with your results before completing treatment.

  • How does Invisalign move teeth?

The aligners fit snugly over the top of your teeth to gently shift them into place.

Every aligner is designed differently to allow specific teeth movements.

Switching to each new set will help you progress through your plan.

  • How long do you have to wear Invisalign?

Wear your trays for at least 20 hours a day.

Your treatment timeline will be based on the complexity of your case. But on average, it takes 12 – 18 months to complete Invisalign treatment.

  • How much does it cost to get Invisalign?

Invisalign is comparable to the cost of metal braces.

Our practice offers multiple financing options to make your treatment more affordable. And we’ll help you maximize your orthodontic insurance benefits.
